Stitching Hope Founders

Jessica and Jay are the heart behind Stitching Hope, a mission-driven brand born from resilience, love, and the desire to give back. As cancer survivors, they understand the journey firsthand—the fear, the hope, and the strength it takes to fight. Together, they’ve combined their skills and passion to create handmade beanies that bring warmth and comfort to those facing their own battles.

Jessica is the creative force behind each beanie, handcrafting every stitch with love and care. A devoted mom, wife, and breast cancer survivor, she found healing in crochet and now pours that same healing energy into every piece she makes. For her, this isn’t just a craft—it’s a way to offer hope and encouragement to those who need it most.

Jay is the backbone of the business, handling the logistics, operations, and everything in between. A dedicated dad, husband, Army veteran, and cancer survivor, he brings his leadership and determination to help their mission grow. His goal is to ensure that every beanie finds its way to someone who needs it, making a difference one stitch at a time.

“Crocheting became my therapy during one of the hardest times in my life. As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand how something as simple as a soft, cozy beanie can bring comfort on tough days. Every stitch I make is filled with love, hope, and strength—because I’ve been there, and I want you to know you’re not alone. My heart is in every beanie, and I hope it brings you warmth in more ways than one.”

“As an Army veteran and cancer survivor, I’ve faced my fair share of battles, but nothing compares to the fight against cancer. I know the power of feeling supported, and that’s why this mission means so much to me. Behind the scenes, I work to ensure that every beanie we create reaches someone who needs it. Whether you’re a fighter, survivor, or supporter, you are part of our family. Together, we can spread warmth, hope, and strength to those who need it most.”
